Rogue Bachata hosts a weekly Latin Dance Night every Tuesday at Cafe Sol on Clapham High Street. Whether you're a complete beginner or an experienced dancer, our Tuesday night is the perfect place to learn, dance, and connect. Bachata class runs 7:30–8:30pm for £10, followed by free social dancing until late.
Cafe Sol is conveniently located on Clapham High Street — a short walk from Clapham North tube (Northern line) and Clapham High Street Overground station. Easy to get to from across South and Central London.
Bachata is a partner dance from the Dominican Republic, set to romantic Latin music. It's characterised by a simple 4-step pattern, sensual hip movement, and close connection between partners. Unlike Salsa, Bachata is slower and more grounded — making it one of the most accessible Latin dances to learn, and one of the most addictive once you start.
Modern Sensual Bachata adds body waves, dips, and fluid partner connection. Rogue Bachata takes this further — our style blends authentic connection with theatrical expression, developed by Oscar & Bo over years of social dancing and performance.
No partner needed at all. Most people come alone. We rotate partners throughout the class so everyone gets to dance with different people — it's part of what makes it so sociable.
Absolutely. We welcome all levels. If you've never danced before, you'll pick up the basics quickly and have a great time doing it.
The 1-hour class is £10. After the class, from 8:30pm, social dancing is completely free. Stay as long as you like.

Comfortable clothes you can move in. Shoes with a smooth or leather sole work best — avoid thick rubber-soled trainers. Come as you are.
Booking is recommended to secure your spot in the class. Use the Eventbrite link above. The social dancing after 8:30pm requires no booking and is free.
