  • Cultivated Groundedness—finding stability and presence in your own body
  • Experienced Flow—moving with ease and efficiency through space
  • Deepened Connection—creating meaningful partnership moments

About This Workshop

The inaugural Rogue Resonance workshop brought together dancers from various backgrounds for an immersive experience. In this welcoming container, participants explored the foundations of the Rogue style—those core principles that make this approach to partner dance unique and powerful.

The atmosphere was warm and supportive, with tea and coffee available throughout. Great music set the tone for exploration and authentic connection.

Core Rogue Principles Explored

Body, Bond, Beyond

Ground in yourself, listen to your partner, expand into the space

Legato

Your center of gravity travels on a continuous, unbroken path

Pause, Presence, Pivot

Stop the movement, find each other, then redirect together

Bounce and Roll

When bodies meet, rebound elastically or redirect

Humility

Surrender your movement when connection is lost

Lazy

Relaxed and lazy, yet in time—a paradox in music and dance

Experience Level

This workshop was welcoming to all experience levels. Whether you were a beginner curious about partner dance or an experienced dancer from another style, there was space for you to explore and discover your own Rogue Resonance.
